For more than a decade, SeerPharma has proudly partnered with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) to deliver university-accredited postgraduate programs in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). As one of the only programs of its kind in the Asia-Pacific region, this long-standing collaboration reflects a shared commitment to developing the next generation of Quality and GMP professionals for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries.

SeerPharma is delighted to congratulate the latest cohort of students who have successfully completed their Postgraduate GMP studies through UTS. Their achievement represents not only academic success, but also a commitment to advancing quality, compliance, and operational excellence within highly regulated healthcare environments.

The UTS Postgraduate GMP Program has been specifically designed to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical industry insights into GMP and Quality Management Systems. The program equips participants with a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory expectations associated with the manufacture, testing, storage, and distribution of regulated healthcare products across global markets.

Students can complete a range of qualifications depending on the number of subjects undertaken:

  • Graduate Certificate – completion of 4 subjects

  • Graduate Diploma – completion of 8 subjects

  • Master’s Degree – completion of 16 subjects

Each subject is delivered over a 10-week period and covers key areas critical to success within regulated industries, including:

  • GMP for Manufacturing Operations

  • Validation Principles and Practices

  • GxP and Quality Auditing Practices

  • Computer Systems Validation (CSV)

  • Clinical Trials Quality Assurance Management

The program continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of industry and the increasing digitisation of quality and manufacturing systems. SeerPharma and UTS have recently introduced a range of innovative technologies and modern learning tools designed to further enhance the student experience and provide more practical, real-world learning opportunities.

This includes the use of AI-enabled technologies such as Anything LLM to create virtual companies and simulated GMP scenarios, allowing students to apply their knowledge in realistic operational environments.

Students are also being introduced to industry-leading electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS) – MasterControl, helping them gain exposure to the types of digital quality platforms widely used throughout the life sciences sector.

In addition, immersive training experiences are being incorporated through technology provided by Uptale. These interactive learning environments enable students to engage with GMP concepts in a more practical and engaging way, supporting stronger knowledge retention and preparing graduates for modern manufacturing and quality operations.

By combining academic excellence with practical industry application, the program helps graduates develop the competencies and confidence required to contribute effectively within highly regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device organisations.

SeerPharma once again congratulates all graduates on this significant achievement and wishes them every success in their future careers. We look forward to seeing the positive impact they will continue to make across the healthcare and life sciences industries.
