Duke-NUS Medical School established the Centre of Regulatory Excellence (CoRE) over a decade ago to strengthen health product regulatory systems and capabilities across ASEAN and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
As a neutral academic platform, CoRE plays a pivotal role in supporting policy innovation, advancing effective and efficient health product regulation, and nurturing the next generation of regional regulatory leaders. By bridging the gap between industry and regulators, CoRE contributes significantly to the healthcare ecosystem.
In line with its mission, CoRE delivers a series of onsite training courses in Singapore, providing participants with practical, applied insights. These include two Graduate Certificate programmes covering pharmaceuticals, advanced therapies, and medical technologies, with modules such as:
- Fundamentals of Health Products Regulation
- Regulation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
- Manufacturing and Quality Management Systems for Medical Devices
SeerPharma has been invited to contribute to CoRE’s upcoming course, Fundamentals of Health Products Regulation, taking place from 15–19 September 2025.
At this workshop, SeerPharma will deliver sessions on core concepts in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), including:
- History of GMP
- Common GMP failures
- Basic GMP requirements, including key definitions and quality management principles
We will also provide participants with an overview of GMP compliance audits and inspections, addressing:
- Types of GMP inspections
- Common GMP inspection findings
- Typical GMP audit deficiencies
These sessions will draw on SeerPharma’s 35 years of experience in helping the industry address challenges in Quality and GMP compliance.
We are honoured to support this programme and contribute to Duke-NUS CoRE’s mission of advancing regulatory excellence across the region.
