Students enrolled in our Postgraduate Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Program at UTS engage in a range of subjects, each spanning 10 weeks and guided by our Consulting team. Throughout their studies, they delve into various topics, such as International GMPs and QA, Validation Principles, GxP, Quality Auditing, and Computer Systems Validation.

During the program, SeerPharma leverages its industry connections to organise site visits and tours, providing students with practical insights into the application of GMP in real-world settings.

Recently, our second year UTS Masters in GMP cohort visited Linfox as part of a 10-week subject focused on "Supply Chain Management." During this visit, the group explored supply chain logistics, storage, and distribution solutions, including passive and active cold chain options. They also examined the range of options available to sponsors, emphasizing the need to verify and validate supply routes and packaging solutions. Furthermore, the visit facilitated an exploration of the roles of third-party logistics providers (3PL) and fourth-party logistics providers (4PL) in the supply chain, as well as the complexities of navigating diverse regulatory regions within a globalised supply chain, encompassing various laws and regulations such as good distribution practices and the Code of Good Wholesaling Practice.

This experience enabled students to identify, plan for, and mitigate potential challenges within the supply chain, ensuring consistent supply and ongoing patient safety, which are the cornerstones of Good Manufacturing Practice.

We extend our gratitude to the members of Linfox and their Healthcare division for accommodating our students and enriching their academic journey.
